LLELA is closed on January 1, 2024 but you can start the new year off right with some time outdoors among neighbors, family, and friends at Thrive Nature Park, 1951 S. Valley Pkwy., Lewisville, TX 75067

Join the Lewisville Parks and Rec staff along with our partners from the Elm Fork Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists for a 2024 First Day Hike. The hike begins at 10am at Thrive Nature Park. This guided activity will provide information on the history of the park, the various ecosystems, as well as they plants and wildlife that can be found. The trail is family-friendly for little ones, including strollers.

No registration required! Meet at the picnic table near the crosswalk on Valley Pkwy. Hikers should wear comfortable shoes, warm clothes, and bring their own water.
